Starting in Alaska's frozen wilderness, Dave and Mike will traverse diverse landscapes, from the rugged beauty of Canada to the bustling cities of North America, the ancient ruins of Central America, and the jaw-dropping scenery of South America.
They plan to complete this journey in 4 to 5 months, sharing every twist, turn, and adventure along the way with you.
Dave and Mike are not just embarking on a motorcycle journey; they are on a mission to raise awareness and funds for Cancer Research UK. This trip is a testament to their resilience, friendship, and commitment to making a difference.
Join them in their adventure and help support this important cause. Every mile they ride is a step towards a world without cancer.
They will fly out from Gatwick on the 26th May to meet their bikes at Anchorage which will be flown out a few weeks before. Upon collecting the bikes from the airport they will then head off up to Prudhoe Bay some 1,000 miles further north in order to start.
The trip will have to start with the traditional dip in the Arctic Ocean, the expected temperature of the sea is -1 degree Celsius. They will then head south through mountains and lakes with spectacular views following the Dalton Highway, famous from the TV show Ice Road Truckers amongst other things, this journey will continue through Canada and getting them into North America where they intend to head to San Francisco visiting the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz, they'll then head to Las Vegas through Death Valley and onto the Baja peninsula where after following some of the Baja 1000 rally stages they'll catch a ferry into Mexico.
And finally the 2,500 mile trip up to Buenos Aires giving them time to reflect before flying home.
Before taking on the Americas, Dave and Mike built a history of unforgettable rides:
